Daerice is an interpreter, scholar, performer and artist who has worked in higher education for over fourteen years. She has traveled extensively in the Balkan countries of Eastern Europe, and during 2005-2006 worked as an English teacher in Ljubljana, Slovenia, E.U. She holds a vocational degree in sign language interpretation, a B.A. in philosophy and an M.F.A. in performance art.
